G. Priyankara is a highly skilled and accomplished Chartered Accountant with over 16 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and accounting. He currently serves as the Head of Finance / Senior Manager – Finance at People’s Leasing & Finance PLC (PLC), Sri Lanka, and is also a Director at People's Leasing Fleet Management Ltd., a subsidiary of PLC. With expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, taxation, compliance, financial reporting, and investor relations, he has played a key role in enhancing financial operations and strategic decision-making within the organization. He has also contributed to award-winning annual reports and has experience in risk management and process digitization as well. Prior to his tenure at PLC, Priyankara worked at Ernst & Young Sri Lanka, where he gained extensive experience in audit and assurance across multiple industries. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) and holds a B.Sc. in Accounting (Second Class Upper Division) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
